Download Nayla's Story: A Children's Storybook about Renewable Energy

Nayla's Stories is a series of children's storybooks that introduce young readers to energy, climate change, and renewable energy in Indonesia through the story of Nayla, a curious child. Using simple language and everyday examples, the books explain why Indonesia needs to transition from fossil fuels to clean energy sources such as solar, wind, hydro, and geothermal energy, and why the transition must be equitable so that no workers or communities are left behind.

The Bahana Foundation published them in three age-appropriate versions (grades 1–2, 3–4, and 5–6) so that every child can read them at their developmental stage. These three books were first distributed as part of the Natural Energy Playground and are now available for free download at Bahana.org for non-commercial educational use, provided the source is acknowledged and the content remains unchanged.
